We will not be accepting new members from Samhain (October 31st) until Imbolc (February 2nd)
To join us, you must first meet the following requirements:
1) You must be 18 years of age and older.
2) You must be free of illegal drugs.
3) You must have at least a basic knowledge of Wicca and Witchcraft.
4) You must be of an open mind, kind hearted and unjudgmental.
5) You must be within driving distance of the South Bay/Los Angeles area.
6) You must be able to attend at least 75% of all meetings, classes, events, rituals and workshops.
Joining a coven is a big step and a commitment, and should not be taken lightly. Take some time to think about it, and make sure that it is the path you wish to take.
Here is an overview of our dedicant process:
1) Fill out the online application OR answer the questions and send to Ivy at ivy@whisperingbrook.org.
2) She will then forward the e-mail to the coven gatekeeper, Phoenix
3) If we believe that you may make a good match with our coven, the coven officers will schedule a meeting with you
4) If we feel that you would make a good dedicant, and if you are still interested in dedicating, we will pair you up with an active coven member as your sponsor and we will invite you into our yahoogroup.
5) You will be expected to come to at least one open meeting to meet everyone.
6) You will be allowed to come to open meetings and semi-open esbats until you feel ready to join the coven (this will not be less than one month, nor more than six months)
7) The Initiates will take a vote, and if voted in, you will be initiated and dedicated into the coven.
